Supporting individuals at Springfield College to receive one-to-one tutorial support to learn academic, life and social skills.
neba in collaboration with Springfield College offers a unique opportunity for adult learners to continue their education. Students are referred by area school systems, DDS, MRC and are between the ages of 18 and 55. neba participants receive one-to-one tutorial support from neba staff or are paired with Springfield College interns. The collaborative program assists individuals with various disabilities to learn academic, life and social skills. Interns will also learn from the individuals they support and great friendships will be made.
In addition to students from Springfield College fulfilling class requirements through tutoring and mentoring, the other benefits of the program are:
