Meet the Team: ​Ruth Poirier

​Ruth A. Poirier joined NEBA in June of 2011.

She began her career with neba as an Employment Consultant and from there went on to become a Project Coordinator starting up initiatives that provide opportunities for individuals to explore work options. Ruth is currently the Coordinator and Supervisor of the Springfield College and Cooley Dickenson Project SEARCH sites.
 
Ruth has had various careers including Childhood Education, Legal Assistant, Service Industry, Personal Insurance, and Human Services.  Ruth received certificates in Early Childhood Education and as a Legal Assistant from Holyoke Community College and St. John’s School of Business.
 
During her down time, Ruth spends time with family and friends, and with her pups, Vinny and Eddie.
