neba, a mission-driven nonprofit employment agency, is looking for a compassionate and driven Bilingual Employment Consultant to join our team. This role supports individuals referred by the Department of Transitional Assistance in Worcester as they work toward meaningful employment.
What You'll Do: As an Employment Consultant, you'll work directly with job seekers to help them identify goals, build skills, and secure employment. Your work will include:
Guiding participants through career assessments and individualized career planning
Leading workshops and job readiness sessions
Assisting in job searches and matching participants with employment opportunities
Building relationships with local employers to learn about hiring needs
Acting as a connector between participants and community resources

Empathetic and supportive, especially when working with individuals facing challenges
A strong communicator—both verbally and in writing—in English and Spanish (Creole a plus)

Comfortable with public speaking and group facilitation
Tech-savvy, with solid computer and documentation skills
A team player who’s also confident working independently

Work Location: In-person
Relocation: Must be able to relocate to the Springfield, MA area prior to starting

Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations
