Now Hiring: Bilingual Employment Consultant (English-Spanish)

Location: In-person (Worcester, MA)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

neba, a mission-driven nonprofit employment agency, is looking for a compassionate and driven Bilingual Employment Consultant to join our team. This role supports individuals referred by the Department of Transitional Assistance in Worcester as they work toward meaningful employment.​

What You'll Do:
As an Employment Consultant, you'll work directly with job seekers to help them identify goals, build skills, and secure employment. Your work will include:
  • Guiding participants through career assessments and individualized career planning
  • Leading workshops and job readiness sessions
  • Assisting in job searches and matching participants with employment opportunities
  • Building relationships with local employers to learn about hiring needs
  • Acting as a connector between participants and community resources

We’re seeking someone who brings both heart and hustle to their work. The ideal candidate will be:
  • Outgoing and personable, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Empathetic and supportive, especially when working with individuals facing challenges
  • A strong communicator—both verbally and in writing—in English and Spanish
  • Motivated, organized, and able to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Comfortable with public speaking and group facilitation
  • Tech-savvy, with solid computer and documentation skills
  • ​A team player who’s also confident working independently

Position Details:
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Work Location: In-person
  • Relocation: Must be able to relocate to the Springfield, MA area prior to starting

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
  • 8-hour shifts

​Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations
