JOAN SARNO!

Joan Sarno, a longtime NEBA consumer was recognized for

her outstanding volunteerism at a ceremony held Wednesday,

April 29, 2010 at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Springfield, MA.

Joan volunteers her services in many churches, with various denominations, throughout the Springfield area!

At Mt. Carmel Church, where Joan is a parishioner, she cleans

the church weekly after funerals. She also cleans and dusts at

First Congregational Church. In addition, Joan picks up books

and other things at St. Mary’s in Longmeadow.

In her spare time, Joan loves to play piano at Christ Church Cathedral. On May 20, 2010 Joan will showcase her musical

talents with a piano concert to benefit the Loaves & Fishes
