New England Business Associates (NEBA) serves a variety of people in the north-central region of Massachusetts through the Franklin and Hampshire County Team.  The area we serve includes the cities and towns of Greenfield, Turners Falls, Miller Falls, Northampton, Amherst, and Athol.

We help people to identify their interests and abilities and to explore their potential within their own communities.  We do this through employment in local businesses or volunteer opportunities in community organizations where every person can find a valued role.  For example, in the best New England tradition, we assisted a gentleman in starting his own woodworking business.  We support a women with severe physical limitation at her position as a receptionist in a local non-profit agency and we assisted another young women when she wanted to return to a nearby college.

Through these new and valued roles, the individual is seen in a different way.  The stigma that has been attached to them is suddenly gone.  They are seen by society as productive.  Soon, relationships start to build and peers interact with the person instead of the disability.

Because we believe in the human spirit, we take dreams and hopes of the people we serve seriously.  We support them while they make their dreams become reality.
